Rule Sets

Rule sets define the logical flow of data through the rule specification. Use rule sets to add data inputs to the rule specification and to configure the rule statements that analyze or update the input data.
Add rule sets below the primary rule set and below other rule set in the rule specification. The rule sets have a parent-to-child relationship. When you add a rule set, the output of the rule set becomes an input to the parent rule set.
You can configure a rule set with a single rule statement, or you can add multiple rule statements to the rule set. The number of rule sets in a rule specification relates to the complexity of the business rule that the rule specification represents.
