Configure Threshold for Map Objects
When an Axon user generates a map that contains a large number of objects, the operation might take a long time and affect the system resources. You can configure the maximum number of System, Data Set, and Attribute objects that must appear in maps. If a user generates a map that exceeds the number of configured objects, Axon displays a notification that informs the user to narrow the filter criteria for maps.
You must have the Super Admin profile to perform this task.
1. From the Axon toolbar, click the Admin Panel menu item under your user name.
2. In the menu on the left, under the Customize & Configure category, click System Settings.
3. In the Group list, select Environment.
4. Click Edit.
5. Configure the following threshold values for the map objects:

Map System Threshold | Maximum number of System objects in a map. The default value is 300. |
Map Dataset Threshold | Maximum number of Data Set Objects in a map. The default value is 1000. |
Map Attribute Threshold | Maximum number of Attribute objects in a map. The default value is 5000. |
6. In the System Settings page, click Save to save your settings.
7. In the Linux environment, run the following command to clear the Axon cache and restart the necessary services:
sh <INSTALLATION_DIR>/axonhome/third-party-app/scripts/paramsync
When you run the paramsync script, Axon restarts the HTTPD, Memcached, and email notification services.
