Link Removal Notifications

If a resource or physical field is deleted from Enterprise Data Catalog, the links from the resource to Axon system or physical field to attribute is removed. Axon sends the link removal notifications through the interface and emails to the data set and system stakeholders based on the configuration settings in the Admin Panel.
A scheduled job runs once a day to synchronize the links between Axon and Enterprise Data Catalog objects. When the job runs, any removal of resource or physical field and corresponding links are identified and notifications are sent to the stakeholders.
If you rename a resource or physical field in Enterprise Data Catalog, it is considered as deleting the resource or physical field and creating them again. Links between the resource and system or physical field and attribute is removed.
Axon sends email and interface notifications about the deleted links to the stakeholders based on configuration of the Automatically Delete Attribute Relationships and Enable Lineage Recommendation Notifications options on the Admin Panel.
