Publish Data Sets as Data Collections

You can publish data sets from Axon Data Governance to the Data Marketplace. When you upload data sets, you make them available as data collections.
To display policies for data collections, the data set owners in Axon must connect the Axon data sets to Axon policies through the System or Glossary objects.
The Axon SuperAdmin must enable Data Marketplace from the Axon Admin Panel. For more information, see the Configure Data Marketplace topic in the Informatica Axon Data Governance 7.1 Administrator Guide.
You must have one of the following user profiles to perform this task:
    1. In Axon Data Governance, go to Unison Search and select the Data Sets facet.
    The page displays the list of data sets that are available in Axon.
    2. Select one or more data sets, and click Bulk Publish. The data sets must belong to only the Enterprise segment.
    The Bulk Publish page appears.
    3. Click Category to select a category for the data sets.
    The category picker appears.
    4. Select a category from the category picker, and click Close.
    5. In the Numbering Prefix field, enter a prefix for the data collection. The prefix is a reference identifier for the data collection in the Data Marketplace.
    Axon Data Governance publishes the data sets to the Data Marketplace as data collections. You can see the status of the publish operation in the notifications tab of the Axon toolbar.
    6. From the Axon toolbar, go to Axon Data Governance.
    7. Search and open the data collection that you just published, and go to the Delivery tab. To find a data collection, see Search, View, and Enrich Data Collections.
    The Delivery Options displays the default delivery target that the Data Marketplace administrator or technical owner has configured.
    8. Click Add to add a new delivery target. Configure the following properties for the delivery target:

    Target
    Name of the delivery target.
    Status
    Select Active to make the delivery target available for use. Select Inactive to make the delivery target unavailable.
    Format
    Select the format to deliver the data collection.
    The options you see here are configured by the Data Marketplace Administrator or Axon SuperAdmin user. For more information, see Configure Delivery Options in the Informatica Data Marketplace 7.1 Administrator Guide.
    Method
    Select the method to deliver the data collection.

    Location
    Location for delivering the data collection.
    Description
    Description for the data collection. Enter a description that helps the data consumers understand the delivery target.
    9. Click Save to save the delivery target. You can click Add in the Delivery Options section to add more delivery targets for the data collection. Click Edit to modify the delivery properties of a data collection.
    10. In the Delivery tab of the data collection, select a delivery target to specify the target as the default delivery option.
