Edit or Delete a Widget

You can edit or delete the widgets that you create on dashboards.
To edit a widget from a dashboard, click the The gear icon icon in the title bar of the widget and click Edit. When you edit a widget, you can either edit the fields or change the widget source. For example, if you want to edit the fields, you can change the name and description for a Text widget, or change the search, chart, name, and description for a Saved Search widget. If you want to change the widget source, you can change the widget type from Saved Search to Text, or vice-versa.
If you have shared the dashboard widget with a user and you edit the widget, the same widget changes apply on the dashboard of the user.
To delete a widget from a dashboard, click the The gear icon icon in the title bar of the widget and click Delete.
You cannot edit or delete the default widgets on the My Dashboard page.
