Changes in Version 5.4

This section describes the changes to Axon in version 5.4.

Data Quality Rule

Effective in version 5.4, you can add and edit data quality rule types using the dropdown configuration of the Admin Panel. You can add a maximum of nine data quality rule types.
You can delete the rule types if they are not used in any data quality rule. You can view the data quality rule types in the Unison grid and the Dashboard view of the Data Quality facet and the Data Quality overlay in the maps.
Previously, a data quality rule had five default rule types and you could not edit them.

Enhanced Security

Effective in version 5.4, you can install Axon in a Linux system with the SELinux mode set to Enforcing. The Enforcing mode protects the Linux server from misconfigurations and unsafe daemon processes.

CIA Rating for System

Effective in version 5.4, when you create a system manually or as part of bulk upload, you can provide separate values for each element in the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) rating when you create a system manually or use the bulk upload option.
By default, each of the CIA elements is rated from 1 to 3. You can add a maximum of nine values to the CIA Rating list using the dropdown configuration in the Admin Panel.
Previously, you could select only a single value as CIA Rating. You could not add or edit the values in the CIA Rating list in the Admin Panel.

KDE for Glossary

Effective in version 5.4, Axon does not identify a Glossary object as a key data element based on its relationship with a Process object. You can specify whether a glossary is a key data element when you create or edit the glossary.
Previously, Axon identified a Glossary object as a key data element based on the Is a KDE for Process relationship with a Process object.

Unison Search

Effective in version 5.4, you can separately apply filters for child objects when you perform a Unison search in hierarchical facets. For example, you find out if a parent object has child objects with the Deleted status, the Approved lifecycle, or the date when they were last updated.
In Axon search filters, the options to include or exclude child objects and the options to apply the filters to the child objects are separated from the parent filters. If you choose to apply filters for the child objects, Axon applies the filters for both parent and child objects. If you want to include child objects without applying any filter to child objects, Axon applies filter to the parent object and then includes parent and child objects in the search results.
Previously, you could choose all or immediate children from the Children filter option in the parent filters.
