Changes in Version 7.2.3

This section describes the changes to Axon in version 7.2.3.

Object Relationship Enhancements

Object Relationship Changes
Effective in version 7.2.3, you can link a policy, process or project directly to a data set or to an attribute. Previously, to connect these objects, you required to link the process, policy or project to a system or to a glossary.
If you had previously linked a policy, process or project to a system or a glossary so that you can connect these objects to a data set or to an attribute, Informatica recommends that you review these system and glossary relationships. Cleaning up object relationships will simplify the ongoing maintenance, as well as improve the accuracy of search results when you search for an object in Unison.
For more information, refer to the Search for Related Objects in Unison topic in the Axon Data Governance 7.2.3 Data Governance User Guide.
Unison Search Changes
Effective in version 7.2.3, when you search for a policy, process or project in Unison, Axon displays all the related objects. For example, consider a data set that is directly connected to a project or indirectly connected to a project via Project X System or Project X Glossary relationships. If you search for the data set, Axon displays the linked project if the project has one of the following connection paths to the data set:
Previously, when you searched for a policy, process or project in Unison, Axon displayed the related objects only if all the connection paths existed. For example, consider a data set that is directly connected to a project or indirectly connected to a project via Project X System or Project X Glossary relationships. If you searched for the data set, Axon displayed the linked project only if the project had all the following connection paths to the data set:
For more information, refer to the Search Related Objects in Unison topic in the Axon Data Governance 7.2.3 Data Governance User Guide.
Bulk Upload Changes
Effective in version 7.2.3, you can use bulk upload templates to directly create or update the following relationships:
Previously, Axon required a policy, process or project to have a related system or glossary to use the bulk upload template to create or update the above relationships.
