This section describes new Axon features in version 7.2.1.

Data Migration

Effective in version 7.2.1, you can migrate all or specific Axon objects and the related objects across environments in your organization. For example, you might have development, testing, and production environments. You can migrate the objects, roles, and relationships from a testing environment and import the migrated data into a development environment.

Axon with Enterprise Data Catalog

Effective in version 7.2.1, the Axon and Enterprise Data Catalog integration includes the following enhancements:
System ID in Data Set Template
To uniquely identify a system for a data set and help in automated onboarding, you can enter a unique identifier for a system in the Data Set template. When you use bulk upload templates to upload new data sets or update existing data sets, you can enter a system identifier in the System ID column. During automated onboarding, if there are two systems with duplicate names, Axon uses the system identifier to uniquely identify a system and automatically onboards data sets and attributes into the system.
You can view the ID column from the System facet on Unison search.

Data Quality Enhancements

Effective in version 7.2.1, the Data Quality facet includes the following enhancements:
Configure Custom Fields for Data Quality
You can configure custom fields for the Data Quality facet from the Admin Panel. The custom fields appear for both standard and local data quality rules. After you configure custom fields for the Data Quality facet, you can view the custom fields in the following areas:
Apply Result Filter for Local Data Quality Rules
You can apply the Result filter in Unison search to filter local data quality rules based on the status of scores. On the Unison search page, select the Data Quality facet, select the Result filter, and choose the Red, Amber, or Green target to view the data quality rules based on status of the scores.
When you create or edit a dashboard widget, you can choose the Result column for the Data Quality facet. You can choose the Result option to filter dashboard results based on the Red, Green, or Amber target.
Apply Filters to Data Quality Results in a Local Data Quality Rule
You can apply filters to quickly load the Data Quality Results chart for a local data quality rule. From the Reports tab of a local data quality rule, apply a filter based on the number of records or choose a date range to view the Data Quality Results chart.
Data Quality Rule Name
You can view the name of a data quality rule from the Data Quality tab of Glossary and Data Set objects.

Data Marketplace Features and Enhancements

Effective in version 7.2.1, Data Marketplace includes the following enhancements:
Request New Data Collection
A data consumer can request for a new data collection from within a category. From the Home page, you can select a category that fits your requirements and submit the request for a new data collection.
Request Review Comments for Consumer Access
If you are a Data Marketplace administrator, data owner, default technical owner, or technical owner, you can request for comments or agreement from another user for a consumer access object. If you are a participant, you can view the request for inputs from the Tasks > Consumer Access Inputs page.
Configure Custom Fields for Data Collections
If you are a SuperAdmin, default technical owner, or Data Marketplace administrator user, you can configure mandatory or optional custom fields for data collections. The custom fields appear on the Summary section of a data collection. If you are a data owner, you can update the custom field values when you create or edit data collections. If you are a data consumer, you can view the custom fields when you access data collections.
Category Filter
You can filter the access withdrawal tasks based on the category of a data collection. Apply the Category filter from the Tasks > Withdraw tab.
Parent Category
You can view the parent of a category if the category belongs to a hierarchy. When you open a category, you can view the Parent Category field in the Summary section. If you are a Data Marketplace administrator or category owner, you can edit the parent field.
Data Marketplace APIs
Use APIs to interact with Axon Data Marketplace. Create and manage orders and consumer access objects. You can also retrieve custom fields and delivery targets for a data collection.

Delete Predefined Dropdown Configuration Values

Effective in version 7.2.1, you can delete the predefined values for dropdown configuration parameters. Axon performs validation of the delete operation depending on the values and their usage in Axon.
You cannot delete some of the default dropdown configuration values because of their impact and dependency across Axon. For more information, see the Axon Data Governance 7.2.1 Administrator Guide.

Edit Dashboard Widgets

Effective in version 7.2.1, you can edit the widgets that you create on dashboards.
When you edit a widget, you can either edit the fields or change the widget type. If you have shared the dashboard widget with a user and you edit the widget, the same widget changes apply on the dashboard of the shared user.

Clear Notifications

Effective in version 7.2.1, you can use the following methods to clear Axon notifications:
Automatic
You can periodically clear Catalog, Workflow, and Bulk Upload notifications that are older than the number of days you configure. You cannot configure to automatically clear notifications for the Roles facet.
Manual
You can manually clear all Catalog, Roles, Workflow, and Bulk Upload notifications from the notification center ().
In the Roles tab, you can accept and clear all roles or navigate to roles and responsibilities for a user.

View Glossary Hierarchy

Effective in version 7.2.1, you can view the hierarchy for a single Glossary object or all Glossary objects from the Glossary facet on Unison search. When you export glossaries, the exported file contains the Hierarchy column if you choose to view the hierarchy for all Glossary objects.

Hide Fields

Effective in version 7.2.1, you can hide fields with empty values from the Summary page of Process, Policy, Data Set, System, and Glossary objects.

Hide Non-Public Objects

Effective in version 7.2.1, you can hide objects with the Axon Viewing field set to "Non-Public" for users that are not object stakeholders. If you hide the non-public objects, the non-public objects do not appear in Unison search results for a WebUser that has no stakeholder role on any object of the facet type. The object stakeholders, SuperAdmin, and Admin users can view the non-public objects.

Save Text Search Preferences

Effective in version 7.2.1, you can choose to save the text search preferences for a facet.
When you choose to save the text search preferences, you can perform the following actions:
Save Text Search Filters
Configure and save your text search filters.
Reset Text Search Filters
Reset your text search filters to the default settings.
Save Default Text Search Filters
Configure and save the default text search filters for all users. You must be a SuperAdmin user to view and configure this setting.
Reset Default Text Search Filters
Reset the text search filters to default settings for all users. You must be a SuperAdmin user to view and configure this setting.

View System Hierarchy

Effective in version 7.2.1, you can view the complete hierarchy of a system from the Relationships tab of the System object. You can view the system hierarchy in the View and Edit modes of a System object. When you export the object or export the Relationships grid, you can also view the system hierarchy in the exported file.

View Policy Type

Effective in version 7.2.1, if an object is connected to a Policy object, you can view the policy type information in the Impact tab of the object. For example, if a data set is connected to a policy, you can view the Policy Type column in the Impact > Policy tab of the data set.
When you search and add policies from the Impact > Policy of an object, you can perform a search based on the Policy Type field.
