API Support for Change Requests

Effective in version 7.2.2, you can use REST APIs to create, retrieve, start, update, complete and cancel change requests in Axon Data Governance.

Axon Data Marketplace Features and Enhancements

Effective in version 7.2.2, Axon Data Marketplace includes the following enhancements:
Request Review Comments for Data Collection Requests
If you are a Data Marketplace administrator, data owner, default technical owner, or technical owner, you can request for comments or agreement from another user for a data collection request. If you are a participant, you can view the request for inputs from the Tasks > Data Collection Request Inputs page.
Data Marketplace APIs
The Data Marketplace Administrator can use an API to create an order on behalf of a data consumer.

Axon with Enterprise Data Catalog

Effective in version 7.2.2, the Axon and Enterprise Data Catalog integration includes the following enhancements:
Support for Informatica MDM Resources
You can view the Informatica Master Data Management (MDM) resources from Enterprise Data Catalog.
Support for Additional Physical Fields

Bulk Upload

System X Data Onboarding Rule
Effective in version 7.2.2, you can upload the relationships between a system and a data onboarding rule using the bulk upload template.
Data Quality Role
Effective in version 7.2.2, you can use the bulk upload template to assign stakeholder roles to local data quality rules and to standard data quality rules.

Custom Field Type Enhancement

Effective in version 7.2.2, you can see the following changes to custom fields:
  1. 1. Renamed Dropdown field type to Single Selection Dropdown.
  2. 2. Multiple Selection Dropdown added as a new custom field type. Allows the Axon user to select multiple values from a dropdown list.
  3. 3. Bulk Upload Templates
  4. You can upload custom field values of Multiple Selection Dropdown type by entering them as comma-separated values in the bulk upload template files.

Configure Email Notification Frequency

Effective in version 7.2.2, a SuperAdmin user can configure Axon to send email notifications whenever a task is assigned to users. A SuperAdmin user can also configure the default notification frequency for all the users in the organization. The notification frequency that you specify in the Activity Stream tab of the My Account page takes will take precedence over the default value configured by the SuperAdmin.

Data Quality Rule Automation Support for New Resources

Effective in version 7.2.2, you can automate the process of running data quality rules on the following newly added resources:

Email Notifications for Data Quality Results

Effective in version 7.2.2, you can configure Axon to send email notifications to stakeholders when a data quality score for a data quality rule goes down.

Email Notifications for Workflow Discussions

Effective in version 7.2.2, Axon sends email notifications if you are mentioned in the workflow discussion of a change request. The email contains the change request ID, the comment where you were tagged, the timestamp of the comment and the name of the author of the comment .

Hide Sensitive Personal Information

Effective in version 7.2.2, you can restrict the visibility of the Email, Employee Type and LAN ID information of objects listed under the People facet in Unison to only users that have logged in to Axon.. Users who have not logged in will not be able to view these fields or open the objects.

Single Sign-On Authentication for Axon Quick Look

Effective in version 7.2.2, you can log in to Axon Quick Look by using a refresh token for Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication.

Transfer Ownership of Dashboards and Shared Searches

Effective in version 7.2.2, you can transfer the ownership of dashboards and shared searches from one Axon user to another.
The ownership transfer is possible only if the owner of the dashboard or the shared search is an inactive user. Axon does not permit transfer of ownership between two active users.
You must have a SuperAdmin profile to perform this task.
