Connectors

This section describes behavior changes in Informatica Cloud Connectors for the Fall 2016 release.

Amazon Redshift

Effective in the Fall 2016 release, Amazon Redshift Connector includes the following changes:
COPY and UNLOAD Commands
You can configure printable and non-printable ASCII characters for DELIMITER in COPY and UNLOAD commands and for QUOTE in the COPY command. The DELIMITER and QUOTE options use the octal representation of ASCII characters. Previously, the DELIMITER and QUOTE options used printable ASCII characters.
The default values for DELIMITER and QUOTE options are 036 and 037 respectively. Previously, the default values for DELIMITER and QUOTE options were comma (,) and double quote (") respectively.
The existing tasks, where DELIMITER and QUOTE options were defined, will run with the defined values. The existing tasks, where DELIMITER and QUOTE options were not defined, will run with the new default values.
For more information, see Informatica Cloud Amazon Redshift Connector User Guide.

Marketo V3

Effective in the Fall 2016 release, Marketo V3 Connector includes the following changes:
Use List IDs and Lead IDs to Retrieve Lead Activities
You can filter lead activities based on list ID and lead IDs. When you provide the list ID, you can retrieve specific lead activities from that list. When you specify the lead ID, you can retrieve activities for the specified lead. Provide the list IDs and lead IDs in the advanced source properties of a task with Marketo Connector.
Previously, you could retrieve lead activity records from Marketo when you specify the activity type IDs and the date range. You could not filter it further by using the list ID and lead IDs.
Advanced Property Field Names
The advanced source property field names includes the object to which the property applies to and displays as <Object> - <Advanced Property>.
Previously, the advanced source property field did not include the object name for which the property was applicable.
Custom, Opportunity, Opportunity Role, Company, and Sales Person Advanced Property Field Names
To read or write opportunity, opportunity role, company, or sales person data, you must use the same advanced source or target property fields that you use for custom objects. The Advanced Source Properties and Advanced Target Properties sections do not include separate fields for opportunity, opportunity role, company, or sales person objects.
You must use the advanced source properties such as Custom Object Filter Type, Custom Object Filter Values, and Custom Object Fields to read opportunity, opportunity role, company, sales person, or custom data. To write opportunity, opportunity role, company, sales person, or custom data to Marketo, you must use the advanced target properties such as Dedupe Fields.
Previously, fields for custom objects represented properties that you could configure only for custom objects.
For more information, see the Informatica Cloud Marketo V3 Connector User Guide.

Tableau

Effective in the Fall 2016 release, Tableau Connector includes the following change:
Append Operation
When you configure a target operation to publish a Tableau Data Extract (TDE) file, you can configure the append operation in the advanced target properties to add data to an existing TDE file in Tableau Server and Tableau Online.
Previously, you could configure the append operation to publish the TDE file only to Tableau Desktop.
For more information, see the Informatica Cloud Tableau Connector User Guide.
