Creating a Cvent Connection

Before you create Cvent connection in Informatica Cloud, you need to enable Cvent Connector to use their API to access data.
Perform the following steps to create Cvent connection in Informatica Cloud:
    1. Click Configure in Informatica Cloud home page.
    2. Select Connections from the menu.
    The Connections page appears.
    3. Click New to create a connection.
    The New Connection page appears. The following image shows the Connection Details page:
    4. Specify the following details:
    Connection Property
    Description
    Connection Name
    Name of the connection.
    Description
    Provide a description.
    Type
    Select the required Cvent connection.
    Runtime Environment
    Select the required Secure Agent.
    Username
    User name of Cvent API.
    Password
    Password for Cvent API.
    Batch Size
    Number of records to be retrieved at a time. Default value is 100.
    Endpoint URL
    Enter the Endpoint URL to connect to the Cvent application.
    Enable Logging
    Check the box to enable logging if required.
    Note: The connection is validated by invoking login method of Cvent API.
    5. Click OK to save the connection.
    Note: It is recommended to test the connection before saving the connection. Click Test to evaluate the connection.
