Creating a File Processor Connection

You need to create a File Processor connection before you create the Data Synchronization task.
Perform the following steps to create a File Processor connection:
    1. Click Configure in Informatica Cloud home page.
    2. Select Connections from the menu.
    The Connections page appears.
    3. Click New to create a connection.
    The New Connection page appears. The following image shows the Connection page:
    4. Specify the following details:
    Connection Property
    Description
    Connection Name
    Enter a unique name for the connection.
    Description
    Provide a description for the connection.
    Type
    Select File Processor from the list.
    Secure Agent
    Select the Secure Agent from the list.
    Source File Directory
    Specify the directory path that contains the source files.
    Target File Directory
    Specify the directory path to which you want to copy the output files.
    Select File
    Select the parameter using which the files are selected from source file.
    File Pattern
    Specify a pattern based on which to select files. For example, when you select files based on the file name extension, provide the format of file name extension in file pattern such as CSV, PDF, and DOCX.
    Days Calculation
    Specify a numeric value to select files based on date. If you do not specify any value, File Processor Connector considers the default current date.
    PassKey1
    Passkey 1 is a masked pass key value you can use in data filters for secret fields or data values.
    PassKey2
    Passkey 2 is a masked pass key value you can use in data filters for secret fields or data values.
    PassKey3
    Passkey 3 is a masked pass key value you can use in data filters for secret fields or data values.
    FileList File Name
    Not applicable
    FileList Configuration File Name
    Not applicable
    5. Click OK to save the connection.
    Note: You must test the connection before you save the connection details. Click Test to evaluate the connection.
