Salesforce Connector Overview
You can use Salesforce Connector to securely read data from or write data to Salesforce.
Salesforce is a cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution for sales teams to manage contacts and sales activities. You can use Salesforce to store and manage contacts and data of the sales activities for your organization.
You can use Salesforce connections in any Informatica Cloud task. You can create a connection to any type of Salesforce account. You can create connections to the following Salesforce editions:

- •Unlimited Edition
Salesforce sources and targets represent objects in the Salesforce object model. Salesforce objects are tables that correspond to tabs and other user interface elements on the Salesforce website. For example, the Account object contains the information that appears in fields on the Salesforce Account tab.
