ODBC Connector Closed Enhancements

The following table describes closed enhancement requests:

When you use ODBC connection, you can specify the subtype of the connection corresponding to the source or target. The ODBC subtype categorizes the type of the connection so that pushdown optimization support can be enabled. You can specify the following subtypes:
  • - Redshift. When you read from or write to Amazon Redshift, select Redshift.
  • - Azure DW. When you read from or write to Azure Data Warehouse, select Azure DW.
  • - Other. When you read from or write to any other databases, select Other.

ODBC Connector Fixed Limitations

There are no fixed limitations in this release.

ODBC Connector Known Limitations

The following table describes known limitations:

When you create a mapping to read data from an ODBC source and specify the key range partition on the Date column, the task fails.

Even though you have the option to configure the Azure DW subtype in an ODBC connection, Azure DW subtype is not supported.
