Configuring User Preferences

User preferences are the details of your Informatica Cloud user account. You can edit your user preferences.
    1. Click the user name link at the top of the browser window, and then click Edit.
    2. On the Edit Preferences page, configure the following fields:

    Description
    User Name
    Informatica Cloud user name. You cannot update your user name.
    Salesforce User Name
    User name for your Salesforce account.
    Confirm Salesforce User Name
    Confirmation of your Salesforce account.
    Password
    Informatica Cloud password.
    Confirm Password
    Confirmation of your Informatica Cloud password.
    First Name
    First name.
    Last Name
    Last name.
    Job Title
    Job title.
    Phone Number
    10-digit telephone number. For example, (123) 456-7890, 123-456-7890, or 123.456.7890.
    Email
    Email address that receives notification from Informatica Cloud.
    If this field is blank, Informatica Cloud sends notifications to the email address that you specify as the Informatica Cloud user name.
    Time Zone
    Time zone where you are located. When you log in, all times reflect the time zone that you specify. For example, the dashboard and schedules display the local time in this time zone.
    Default time zone is Pacific Daylight Time, Los Angeles.
    Ignore License Expiration Messages
    Allows you to stop the display of license expiration messages:
    • - False. Shows all license expiration messages.
    • - True. Does not display license expiration messages.
    3. Select a security question and enter the answer you want to use.
    To create your own security question, select Write a Custom Security Question.
    The answer is not case-sensitive.
    4. Optionally, select a default view for Informatica Cloud pages. You can choose to view all tasks, the last view you accessed, or a specific custom view for each Informatica Cloud page.

    Default view for Contact Validation tasks. You can select any available view.

    Default view for Data Replication tasks. You can select any available view.
    Data Assessment Tasks View
    Default view for Data Assessment tasks. You can select any available view.
    Data Masking Tasks View
    Default view for Data Masking tasks. You can select any available view.
    PowerCenter Tasks View
    Default view for PowerCenter tasks. You can select any available view.
    Mapping Configuration Tasks View
    Default view for Mapping Configuration tasks. You can select any available view.
    Connections View
    Default view for connections. You can select any available view.
    Task Flows View
    Default view for task flows. You can select any available view.
    Activity Log View
    Default view for the activity log. You can select any available view.
    5. If you are allowed to preview data, configure the Show Data Preview Automatically to determine if preview data appears automatically in the Data Synchronization Task wizard.
    6. Click OK.
