Enabling QuickBooksV2 Connector

To enable QuickBooksV2 Connector, get in touch with Informatica support or Informatica representative. It usually takes 15 minutes for the connector to download to Secure Agent, after it is enabled.
Note: To install Secure Agent, see Installing Informatica Secure Agent.
Note: The QuickBooks application should be running in local time zone. This is required for $LastRunTime filter to work.

Setting up Remote Connector

Before creating QuickBooksV2 connection, you need to setup the remote connector. The remote connector integrates the QuickBooksV2 Connector with QuickBooks application.
After you have successfully downloaded the QuickBooksV2 Connector to Secure Agent, you need to setup the RemoteConnector.exe.
The RemoteConnector.exe file is located in the following directory: <Secure Agent installation directory>\downloads\<latest connector zip package>\package\plugins\<plugin ID>
Note: If you are not able to locate the RemoteConnector.exe file, perform an OS search for RemoteConnector.exe in the file location path mentioned above.
The following procedures help you to setup RemoteConnector.exe.
    1. Click RemoteConnector.exe.
    2. The Remote Connector dialog box appears.
    3. Click Users.
    4. In Users, Enter Username and Password to create a Remote Connector user.
    5. Click Add User.
    Note: The above mentioned login credentials will be used while creating a QuickBooks connection in Informatica Cloud. See QuickBooks Connection Properties.
    Note: To access QuickBooks application, you do not require remote connector login credentials.
    A new user account is created.
    6. Click Start to turn-on the remote connector.

To Select/Generate Server Certificate (Not Mandatory)

    1. In Remote Connector application, click Server Certificate.
    2. Enter the required details.
    3. Click Generate Certificate.
    4. If you have already generated a server certificate, click Select Certificate to choose any one from the list of available server certificates.
Server certificate is selected successfully.

Granting Access to QuickBooks Application

While creating a QuickBooksV2 connection, a dialog box might appear when you test the connection for the first time.
    1. In the dialog box, select Yes, whenever this QuickBooks company file is open.
    2. Click Continue and then proceed to QuickBooks Connection Properties.
