Data Synchronization Example

You are an operational analyst in an organization and you need to analyze the tickets of your organization Zendesk account. You need to fetch the ticket information from your Zendesk account to analyze the tickets.
Ticket information includes Ticket_ID, Type, Subject, Priority, Status, Created_At, and Updated_At. You can use the ticket information to analyze the tickets in your Zendesk account.
Configure a Data Synchronization task to read the ticket information from your Zendesk account and write to the flat file.
You perform the following Data Synchronization task:
Source
The source for the Data Synchronization task is Tickets from Zendesk connection. The Tickets object is a single source in the Data Synchronization task.
Target
The target for the Data Synchronization task is a flat file. Create a target object based on the source definition. Specify the name of the target file. You can also select fields from the source object to include in the target file. The flat file contains all the source fields by default.
Mapping
Map all the fields under the Zendesk Tickets source object with all fields in the target file. The Secure Agent reads the mapped source data to the target file.
The following image shows the mapping of the Zendesk_Tickets source with the Tickets_Information target file in the location you specified in the connection properties:
