Copying a Data Replication Task

You can copy a Data Replication task. You might copy a task to create a different task with similar behavior. For example, you might create two Data Replication tasks to replicate the same data to two different targets. Or, you might test changes on a copy of a task.
When you copy a task, the Data Replication task creates a new task name and, if applicable, a target prefix. The Data Replication task appends a number to the end of the task name and target prefix. For example, if the original task name is RG1 and target prefix is SF_, the new task name is RG1_2 and target prefix is SF2_.
Note: When you copy a task with a schedule, the schedule is removed from the copied task.
To copy a Data Replication task:
    1. Click Task Wizards > Data Replication.
    2. Click the Make a Copy icon next to the task name.
