Preview initiated
Effective in the July 2026 release, Apache NiFi version 2.5.0 for Streaming Ingestion and Replication is available for preview. You can now upgrade the Apache NiFi runtime used by Streaming Ingestion and Replication from version 1.14.0 to 2.5.0. The preview package includes key updates to custom processors and AMQP NAR components. Informatica recommends that you upgrade and test your existing streaming ingestion and replication tasks only in a non-production environment to verify compatibility before the general availability rollout, planned for the October 2026 release. Preview functionality is supported for evaluation purposes but is unwarranted and is not supported in production environments or any environment that you plan to push to production. Informatica intends to include the preview functionality in an upcoming release for production use, but might choose not to in accordance with changing market or technical circumstances.
