Important notices and upcoming changes

Informatica intends to drop support for the user name and password-based authentication to connect to Snowflake by October 31, 2026 following Snowflake's scheduled deprecation.

This change applies to the following connectors, wherever you use a user name and password to connect to Snowflake:

To avoid service disruption, switch to a multi-factor authentication method as soon as possible.

We want to let you know that by February 2027 or later, Snowflake Data Cloud Connector will use the JDBC driver version 4.3.2, by default, to connect to Snowflake and run your Snowflake Data Cloud mappings and tasks.

The JDBC driver version 4.3.2 is available in the Secure Agent installation directory.

To prepare for the change, ensure that you test the JDBC driver version 4.3.2 in a lower or non-production environment before the February 2027 release.
