Note the following guidelines and considerations for using Open Table targets:
•When you run an incremental load or a combined initial and incremental load task with the Open Table target, sub-tasks might take significantly longer than expected to appear in the monitoring interface. This delay does not affect initial load tasks. To work around this issue, run the Amazon Athena OPTIMIZE and VACUUM commands on the recovery table to compact snapshot files and expire old snapshots.
