As an organization administrator, you can assign asset permissions to custom roles using access policies defined in Metadata Command Center. Depending on the permissions, users can view, create, modify, delete or manage the access for objects in Data Marketplace.
In the Metadata Command Center, you can view or modify the asset permissions associated with an access policy. To view the asset permissions, on the Access Control page of the Metadata Command Center service, open a policy, the Overview tab displays the role that is associated with the access policy. To view the asset permissions assigned to the role using the access policy, click the Rules tab. For more information, see the Administration help in Metadata Command Center.
You can assign the following permissions on a Data Marketplace object:
•Create. Allows you to create an object.
•Delete. Allows you delete an object.
•Manage Access. Allows you to manage the access to an object.
•Read. Allows you to view an object.
•Update. Allows you to modify the properties of an object.
The Create, Update and Manage Access permissions for a Data Marketplace object allow a user to perform these actions through the user interface or using the bulk create process.
