Step 1. Get the Metadata Source Name

Before you can create a resource, you must first get the metadata source name. The metadata source name is a text string that uniquely identifies the metadata source, for example, QlikView or Pivotal Greenplum Database (via JDBC). You need the metadata source name to create the plug-in definition file.
The metadata source names are listed in the Supported Metadata Sources topic. When you create the plug-in definition file.
