Accessing Utilities

You can use the backup and log collection utilities after you install and configure Enterprise Data Catalog. Make sure that you use a user account configured with Informatica Administrator privileges to access the utilities.
To access the utilities, perform the following steps:
  1. 1. Click on the Help menu, and click Log Interface.
  2. 2. In the login page, enter the user name and password. The Monitoring Job Details page appears by default.
  3. 3. Click Back Up Catalog to access catalog backup, or click Collect Service Logs or Collect Resource Logs to access the service and resource log collection utilities.
