Cloning a Resource

You can create a copy of a resource by cloning the resource. This feature is useful if you want to copy the configuration of an existing resource, and then modify the configuration as required. When a resource is cloned, certain resource configuration such as passwords, file uploads, and connection assignments are not copied. You cannot clone a system resource.
    1. From the Catalog Administrator header, click Library.
    The Library workspace opens.
    2. In the resources list, point to the resource that you want to clone, and select Clone from the control menu.
A message appears asking you to confirm if you want to continue.
    3. Select OK.
    The resource details appear.
Note: You can also open a resource and click on the Clone button to go to the resource details page, and create a resource from the clone.
    4. Edit the resource name and make changes to the configuration of the copied resource as required.
    5. To save the changes without running the resource again, click Save.
    6. To save the changes and run the scan, click Save and Run.
