Creating Composite Data Domains

1. Click New > Composite Data Domain.
The Composite Data Domain page appears.
2. In the Name box, specify the name for the composite data domain.
3. In the Description box, specify the description for the composite data domain.
4. Specify the data domains that you want to include within the composite data domain in the Specify Match Criteriasection. You can click (Select Data Domain) to select the required data domains from the Data Domains dialog box.
- Click (Add) to add rules that include data domains or composite data domains that you want to include in the composite data domain definition. Each text box in the Specify Match Criteria section that appears when you click Add signifies a rule. Enterprise Data Catalog connects the rules using the OR operator.
- Click (Remove) to remove data domain rules from the composite domain definition.
5. Click Save.
