Creating Custom Resource Types

1. Select Manage > Custom Resource Types.
The Custom Resource Types page appears.
2. Click (Add).
The New Custom Resource Type dialog box appears.
3. Provide the following details for the new custom resource type:
• - Name. Verify that the name starts with a letter. The name can include letters, numerals, underscore (_), hyphen (-), period (.), and white space.
• - Description.
• - Model. Click Browse. The Select Models dialog box appears. Select the custom model that you created and click OK.
Note: You can select multiple system or custom models that you want to associate with the custom resource type.
• - Connection Types. Click Select. The Select Connection Types dialog box appears. Select the classes that you can assign as connection endpoints in the custom resource type and click OK.
4. Click OK.
The custom resource type is created based on the custom model that you defined.
