Importing Connections from ServiceNow
Import connections from ServiceNow to extract configuration metadata into the Catalog.
1. Click Manage > ServiceNow Import.
The Import Connections from ServiceNow window appears.
2. Enter the following properties to connect to ServiceNow:
- - Service URL. URL to connect to the ServiceNow instance.
- - User Name. ServiceNow instance user name.
- - Password. Password to the ServiceNow instance.
3. Click Next.
The Import Connections from ServiceNow window displays available connections from ServiceNow.
4. Select the connections that you want to import from the available connections list, and then click Import. Optionally, click the connection name to change the name of the connection.
Catalog Administrator displays a notification about the status of the import job.
Note: The Import from ServiceNow feature is available for technical preview. Technical preview functionality is supported but is unwarranted and is not production-ready. Informatica recommends that you use these features in non-production environments only.
