Managing Import from ServiceNow Overview
Catalog Administrator connects to ServiceNow to import connections and extract the configuration metadata into the catalog. The configuration metadata that you import include the instance name, host name, port number, and database name. You can import the configuration metadata for Oracle, IBM DB2, and Microsoft SQL Server resource types.
After the import, Catalog Administrator creates a resource for each imported connection. The resource name is the same as the connection name that you imported.
