Monitoring by Task
As part of Enterprise Data Catalog administration activities, you can monitor the tasks for each scan job. To effectively troubleshoot issues, you need to closely monitor the tasks. You might also want to focus on the tasks that failed or that are running for a long time.
The monitoring statistics include the task type, resource name, schedule, task status, and the start and end time. To view the log file for a task, click Open Log under the Log URL column.
You can use the control menu for each task to cancel, pause, or resume each task. To cancel, pause, or resume multiple tasks, select the tasks and use the control menu at the top of the Tasks grid.
