Informatica Platform Resources Overview

When you create and run the Informatica Data Quality resource, the scanner extracts and migrates the profile results from the profiling warehouse to the catalog. You can then view the migrated results in Enterprise Data Catalog. When you create and run the Informatica Similarity Discovery resource, the scanner discovers similar columns based on column name, column data pattern, and unique values in columns from the selected resources.
