MCP server purpose and capabilities

When you create an MCP server, you define its description, capabilities, and use cases. The information you enter appears on the Overview tab of the MCP server details page.
The following image shows the Overview tab for a composite MCP server:
The Overview tab for a composite MCP Server contains the following sections: About this MCP Server, Key Capabilities, and Use Cases. The About this MCP Server section describes the MCP server's purpose. The Key Capabilities section contains bullet points that describe the MCP server's key capabilities. The Use Cases section contains bullet points that list common use cases.
Enter the following information:
About this MCP Server
Description of the MCP server's purpose so that other users in your organization know when to use it.
Key Capabilities
The MCP server's key capabilities.
Use Cases
Typical use cases for the MCP server.
