Informatica provides a set of MCP servers that all organizations can use. You can also create your own MCP servers based on your organization's Application Integration processes.
Your AI agents can use the following types of MCP servers:
Shared MPC servers
Informatica provides a set of shared MCP servers for all organizations to use. These MCP servers provide tools that address common IDMC business use cases like address verification, metadata search, and data integration job management.
Shared MCP servers are fully managed by Informatica and are ready for consumption by your organization’s AI agents.
Composite MPC servers
Composite MCP servers are created by you and other users in your organization. They allow you to expose your organization’s Application Integration processes as tools. They can only be used within your organization.
After you create a composite MCP server, you need to deploy it. Deploying the MCP server creates an active MCP server instance that’s ready for consumption by your organization’s AI agents.
