You can install the Secure Agent on a physical or virtual machine that runs a supported version of the Linux operating system.
The Secure Agent machine must meet the following requirements:
Hardware requirements
The machine must meet the following minimum hardware requirements:
- At least 4 CPUs or logical processors.
- At least 16 GB RAM. If you run multiple IICS services, at least 32 GB RAM is recommended.
- At least 250 GB disk space to run AI agents and store log files.
Operating system
The machine must run one of the following versions of Linux:
- RedHat 8.x (64 bit)
- RedHat 9.x (64 bit)
- Ubuntu 20.04 (64-bit)
- Ubuntu 22.04 (64 bit)
The Linux version should support Python 3.13 either natively or through installation.
Note: If the operating system doesn't natively include Python 3.13 (for example, RedHat 8.x), you don't need to install it separately from a third-party source or compile it yourself. The Secure Agent package includes Python 3.13.
Open SSL version
The machine must have OpenSSL 3.0 or later installed.
