Relationships

Customer 360 SaaS users can use predefined relationships to define and visualize relationships between business entity records.

The following table describes the predefined relationships for Customer 360 SaaS:
Relationship Name
Description
Child
A self-referential Person business entity relationship to establish a hierarchical parent-child relationship between two person records. For example, a relationship between two persons, a child and a parent.
Contact
Relationship between Organization and Person business entities that have the means to communicate with each other.
Employee
Relationship between Person and Organization business entities where a person is an employee of an organization. For example, a relationship between an employee and an employer.
Employs
Relationship between Organization and Person business entities where an organization employs a person. For example, a relationship between an employer and an employee.
Guardian
A self-referential Person business entity relationship to establish a hierarchical parent-child relationship between two person records. For example, a relationship between a minor child and its custodian.
Parent
A self-referential Person business entity relationship to establish a hierarchical parent-child relationship between two person records. For example, a relationship between two persons, a parent and a child.
Sibling
A self-referential Person business entity relationship to establish a relationship between two person records where one person is a sibling of the other.
Spouse
A self-referential Person business entity relationship to establish a relationship between two person records where one person is a spouse of the other.
Subsidiary
A self-referential Organization business entity relationship to establish a hierarchical relationship between two organization records. In the relationship, one organization is allied with, but a subsidiary to the other.
