Migrate existing rule associations

To optimize performance and run faster validation and enrichment, you can migrate existing basic, advanced, and DaaS rule associations to use Enrichment and Validation Orchestrator. When you migrate these rule associations, MDM SaaS creates predefined objective groups for each business entity, objectives, and equivalent rule associations within those objectives.
Note:
You can only migrate existing rule associations to use Enrichment and Validation Orchestrator in organizations that were created before the October 2025 release.
You can migrate rule associations from the Home page.
If you have created organizations after the October 2025 release, MDM SaaS uses Enrichment and Validation Orchestrator by default to run rule associations.
When you choose to migrate rule associations, MDM SaaS runs the migrate rule association job. The job seamlessly migrates your basic, advanced, and DaaS rule associations to use Enrichment and Validation Orchestrator. The job automatically creates a predefined objective group for each business entity, objectives, and equivalent rule associations within those objectives.
MDM SaaS creates a Predefined Objective Group for <BusinessEntity_Name> to store all the migrated rule associations.
MDM SaaS creates an objective for all dependent rule associations, while independent rule associations are created as separate objectives. For example, consider a First Name field configured with a basic rule association with the uppercase function and an advanced rule association with the concatenate function that uses the output of the uppercase rule association. When you migrate the rule association, MDM SaaS includes these two rule associations within the same objective.
If there's an existing rule association with the same name as the migrated rule association, MDM SaaS appends 1 at the end of the rule association name. For example, if there's an existing rule association with the name Uppercase, MDM SaaS displays the migrated rule association name as Uppercase1. Additionally, you can't edit the migrated rule associations.
