Use the deduplication criteria to identify and merge duplicate field group values. You can specify fields within a field group as the criteria for deduplication. The field group values survive based on survivorship rules.
You can set deduplication criteria for mandatory fields, nested field groups, and optional fields. The identification of duplicate values isn't case-sensitive.
For example, consider an address field group to which you apply deduplication criteria to address line 1 and postal code. Duplicate field values of address line 1 and postal code entries are identified and are merged into one.
