Defining business events based on native workflows

You can define business events based on native workflows.
Native workflows are custom workflows that you configure in Business 360 Console. The intuitive interface of the workflow designer or canvas simplifies and streamlines the process of designing workflows. You can easily add workflow components, such as manual and automated tasks, conditions, and task outcomes to a workflow. In addition, a validation panel alerts you to any errors in the workflow and provides detailed information about them.
To use native workflows in business events, configure the workflows and then define business events with the workflows.
Effective in the April 2026 release, the ability to create native workflows and use them in business events is available for preview.
Preview functionality is supported for evaluation purposes but is unwarranted and is not supported in production environments or any environment that you plan to push to production. Informatica intends to include the preview functionality in an upcoming release for production use, but might choose not to in accordance with changing market or technical circumstances.
