Customer 360 Extension for Salesforce installation using the guided assistance consists of multiple phases that include pre-installation tasks, deployment planning based on the integration choices, and post-installation tasks.
The pre-installation task includes the preparations to install the extension. Before you begin, perform the following prerequisites:
1Ensure that you add a Secure Agent.
2Configure the flat file connection.
3Copy the reference data files.
4Copy the CSV files in the flat file configuration directory.
5Publish the assets.
After you acknowledge the completion of the pre-installation tasks, you can start to install the extension.
You can configure Salesforce to synchronize records with Customer 360 in batches or real-time and to search for matching records in Customer 360 before creating a record. You can choose to skip any of the integration process based on your requirement.
After you complete setting up Salesforce, test the integration between Salesforce and Customer 360.
