Restoring a record scenario
You can restore master and source records. If you use Customer 360 SaaS to restore a master record, the restoration depends on the rank of the Informatica Customer 360 source system.
Consider a master record in Customer 360 SaaS with two contributing source records, Record 1 and Record 2.
The following table lists the contributing source records of the master record, their source systems, and source rankings:
Source Record
Source System
Source Rank
Record 1
HR
1
Record 2
Finance
3
The Informatica Customer 360 source system is ranked 2. In Customer 360 SaaS, you first delete the master record and then delete both the source records. If you restore Record 2, the source record is restored, but the master record isn't restored because the Informatica Customer 360 source system is ranked higher than the Finance source system. However, if you try to restore Record 1, the source and master records are restored because the HR source system is ranked higher than the Informatica Customer 360 source system.
