Specific actions on data can trigger a workflow. The workflow might consist of one or multiple tasks linked together.
Relevant stakeholders need to review and approve the data before it becomes master data. As a stakeholder, you can view all your assigned tasks in the task inbox.
Note: If your changes trigger a workflow, you can't view the approval task. Also, you can't approve your changes, even if you are assigned the approver role.
Effective in the April 2026 release, the ability to review tasks in the task inbox is available for preview.
Preview functionality is supported for evaluation purposes but is unwarranted and is not supported in production environments or any environment that you plan to push to production. Informatica intends to include the preview functionality in an upcoming release for production use, but might choose not to in accordance with changing market or technical circumstances.
