You can organize records by assigning them to appropriate hierarchy nodes. Assign a record to place it in any hierarchy by selecting the appropriate parent node within the hierarchy.
You can assign a record to multiple nodes within a hierarchy or in another hierarchy. You can also unassign records from hierarchy nodes.
Before you assign a record, you can view the hierarchies to which the record is assigned or not assigned.
1Open a record that you want to assign to a hierarchy node.
2Click the Hierarchy tab.
3To filter the list of hierarchies, select one of the following options in the Show list:
- All. Displays all the hierarchies.
- Assigned. Displays the hierarchies to which the record is assigned. By default, the hierarchies to which the record is already assigned appear.
- Unassigned. Displays the hierarchies to which the record is not assigned.
4Click the hierarchy to which you want to assign the record.
The hierarchy opens in the right pane.
5Click Assign.
6 Select the nodes to which you want to assign the record.
