Step 6. Configure and publish the Email connection

1. 1Open the EmailConnection connection.
2. 2From the Type list, select IICS Cloud Application Integration Email Service (Licensed for use).
3. 3From the Runtime Environment list, select Cloud Server or any Secure Agent.
4. 4From the Authentication Type list, select Password.
5. 5In the Connection Properties section, enter values for the following properties:

Property	Description
Authentication	Select Enable. Email Connector authenticates the user name and password that you enter in the email connection properties.
User Name	User name to log in to the Gmail or Microsoft Outlook email server. The user name is either the account name or the email address that is used to send the email with the synchronization results.
Password	The app password generated from Gmail or Microsoft Outlook server. For more information, seeGenerating an App Password for Email Server.
Security	Select the appropriate security type: - SSL for Gmail server. - TLS for Outlook server.
Connection Timeout	The connection timeout in milliseconds. The default is 30000 milliseconds.

Configure the following common properties on the connection creation page:

Property	Description
Host	Enter the hostname of the server. Example for the Gmail server: smtp.gmail.com
Port	Port for communication between the Process Server and the email server. Example for the Gmail server: 465
Test Email Address	The email address that receives test mails from this connection.
From Email Address	The email address that appears in the From field for emails sent from this connection.

6. 6On the Event Sources tab, enter the IMAP host and port values of your email server in the Host and IMAP port fields.
Example for Gmail server:
• - Host: imap.gmail.com
• - Port: 993
7. 7Save and publish the connection.
