Prerequisites for creating custom fields in Zendesk

Before using the Synchronize Dynamics 365 Accounts with Zendesk Organizations recipe, you must ensure that Zendesk contains the necessary fields for synchronization. In Zendesk, you must manually add custom fields to organizations such that the Zendesk fields match the fields in Dynamics 365. For example, if the Dynamics 365 account contains a Credit Limit field, you must create a corresponding field in Zendesk to store this information.
In Dynamics 365, an account is a comprehensive business entity that stores key company information, such as the company name, contact details, financial information, interactions, and order history.
In Zendesk, an organization is a group of users and does not contain some important fields, such as financial data or transaction history. To achieve complete synchronization, you must create additional fields in Zendesk.
Zendesk organizations have a limited set of standard fields, such as name, domain, and notes, by default. If your business process requires additional fields, such as Customer Type or Region, you must add these fields to Zendesk before synchronizing the data.
