Mappings and mapping tasks with Greenplum Connector
When you create a mapping, you can configure a Source or Target transformation to represent a Greenplum object.
Greenplum source and target objects represent metadata for Greenplum tables. You can define properties in the mapping to determine how the gpload utility reads or writes data to Greenplum. When you run a mapping, the Secure Agent invokes the gpload utility to read data from or load data to Greenplum.
In advanced mode, the Mapping Designer updates the mapping canvas to include transformations and functions that enable advanced functionality.
