MRI Software sources in mappings and mapping tasks

In a mapping, you can configure a Source transformation to represent a single MRI Software source.
The following table describes the MRI Software source properties that you can configure in a Source transformation:
Property
Description
Connection
Name of the source connection.
Source Type
Type of the source object. Select Single Object.
Object
Name of the source object for the mapping.
Filter
Filters records and reduces the number of rows that the Secure Agent reads from the source. You can use a basic filter or an advanced filter to read specific records.
The filter is mandatory for certain MRI Software objects. For more information, see Filtering records from MRI Software sources.

Filtering records from MRI Software sources

You can use a filter expression to reduce the number of rows that the Secure Agent reads from the source.
You can use a basic filter or advanced filter to select specific records from an MRI Software source.
Configuring a filter
Perform the following steps to configure a simple filter or advanced filter:
  1. 1In the Query Options section, click Configure for the Filter property.
  2. 2In the Filter Condition list, select Non Parameterized for a simple filter or Advanced for an advanced filter.
  3. 3Configure the filter condition.
    4. For a simple filter, select the object, field, and operator and specify the filter value.

    For an advanced filter, select the object and field and specify the filter expression. You can create complex expressions that use AND, OR, or nested conditions.

  4. 4Click OK.
