Configure keyboard shortcuts to interact with Informatica QuickLook. The combination of keyboard shortcuts must be unique to each setting.
Configure keyboard shortcuts to activate the extension and search for assets. You can use the shortcuts on a web page or a file that you open in Google Chrome to search for a copied or selected keyword. For more information about performing a search using keywords from a web page, see Search in the context of a web page.
1Right-click the Informatica logo from the toolbar of your browser, and select Manage extensions from the menu.
2On the Extensions page of the browser, select the My extensions option.
3Enable the Allow access to file URLs option.
4On the Extensions page of the browser, select the Keyboard shortcuts option.
5On the Keyboard shortcuts tab, enter the following hotkey combinations:
aEnter Ctrl + B in the Activate the extension field to open or close Informatica QuickLook.
Note: Ctrl + B is not the default hotkey.
bEnter Ctrl + Shift+ C in the Search the copied text field to search for any text in Informatica QuickLook that you have copied to the clipboard from a web page.
cEnter Ctrl + Q in the Search the selected text field to search for any text in Informatica QuickLook that you have selected to the clipboard from a web page.
Note: In PDF files and Microsoft Office files that you open in a browser, you can search only for copied text. The keyboard shortcuts may not work on websites that have disabled right-clicks or impose other restrictions.
