Certifying an asset

As a stakeholder, you can endorse a technical asset as valid by certifying the asset. This helps users trust the asset and use it for business decisions or in other applications.
You can certify technical data sets such as a table, view, or report.
    1 Open the technical data set that you want to certify.
    2Click the Certify Asset icon () to certify the asset.

    3In the Certify Asset dialog box, provide an explanation to help users understand why this asset is reliable, and click Certify.

You can use search queries to search and find the assets that are certified. For information about collaboration search query examples, see Search query examples. If you hover over the certification badge of a certified asset, you can view the stakeholder name and the comments about the asset.

You can also view the certification comments in the Comments dialog box. For more information on comments, see Commenting on an asset.
