View workflow tickets

On the Ticket Manager page, you can view the list of all workflow tickets in which you are a ticket owner or a stakeholder. To view the list of tickets for an asset, go to the Tickets tab of the asset page. You can configure the Tickets widget available on your dashboard to view tickets associated with a particular business asset type or based on ticket statuses.

View tickets from Ticket Manager page

Open the Ticket Manager page and click a ticket to open it in a new page.

The following table describes the fields that appear on the Overview tab:
Field
Description
Current Task
Task that is required for the next participant in the workflow.
Due Date
Date by which the next participant in the workflow should complete the required task.
Description
Description of the ticket. Other participants in the workflow can read the description to decide the next action to take on the ticket.
Resolution
Indication of whether the ticket is resolved or not.
Classification panel: Status
Status of the ticket.
The ticket can be either open or resolved.
Classification panel: Severity
Severity level of the ticket.
The levels can be Low, Medium or High.
Classification panel: Urgency
Urgency level for the ticket.
The levels can be Blocker, Major or Minor.
Workflow panel
Workflow that applies to the ticket, and the current step of the ticket workflow.
Stakeholders
Users that have been assigned as stakeholders for the asset.
Next Tasks panel
Displays the remaining ticket workflow actions when the ticket is in the Open status.
Completed Tasks panel
Displays all completed tasks of the workflow.
Changes panel
Highlights the changes in the asset properties when the ticket is in the Open status.
Use the Highlight Changes check box to view the changes.
The Workflow tab is a pictorial representation of the ticket workflow based on the workflow configurations for an asset type in Metadata Command Center. View the audit history of the ticket on the History tab.

Viewing tickets from asset page

To display the list of tickets associated with an asset, click the Tickets tab on the asset page.
The ticket preview pane displays the cancel ticket action, ticket details such as workflow, description, assets, changes, severity, urgency, and the user who created the ticket.

View tickets from Tickets page

If you have configured the Tickets widget on your dashboard, you can view a particular set of tickets specific to a business asset type or based on the ticket statuses. Click the header of the Tickets widget to view tickets on the Tickets page.
If you are a stakeholder of the asset or your user role has the Super Admin privilege, you can cancel an open ticket with workflow. To cancel an open ticket, click the Action button and select Cancel on the particular ticket row of the Tickets grid.
Alternatively, you can also click Cancel on the preview pane of the Tickets page to cancel the ticket.
