The Data MarketplaceMy Data page provides an overview of a user's activity within Data Marketplace.
On your own My Data page, you can view the data collections to which you have received access and the details of the consumer accesses. For more information, see Data I Use tab.
On this page, you can also view the data collections for which you are assigned as a stakeholder, and view the details of the consumer accesses for your data collections. For more information, see Data I Own tab.
You can customize how your My Data page appears to other Data Marketplace users. You can modify the avatar color, your avatar initials, and you can also add a short message. When you visit another user's My Data page, you can view their basic contact information and get an overview of what relationship the user has to the data within Data Marketplace.
Data I Use tab
On your My Data page, you can view the data collections to which you have received access and the details of the consumer accesses.

Access View
Prerequisites
To view the consumer accesses on this tab, verify one of the following prerequisites:
- You are granted access to a data collection and your user profile is assigned at least one of the predefined roles for Data Marketplace. For more information about the predefined roles for Data Marketplace, see Predefined roles.
- You are granted access to a data collection and your user profile is assigned a role for which the following privileges and permissions are enabled:
▪ Access Data Marketplace privilege is enabled in Administrator.
▪ Read permission is enabled in Metadata Command Center for consumer accesses, data collections, delivery targets, delivery templates and usage contexts.
On the Access View tab, you can view the details of your accesses to data collections.
The following table describes the fields that you can view in the Access Details grid:

Description
Access ID
Reference identifier of the consumer access.
Data Collection
Name of the data collection to which you have received access.
Purpose
Purpose of the data collection as defined by a stakeholder of the data collection.
Delivery Target
Name of the delivery target used to deliver the data collection.
Delivery Template
Name of the delivery template that was used to create the delivery target.
Usage Context
The context within which the data is used as specified by you at the time of order.
Status
Status of the consumer access. A consumer access can have one of the following statuses:
- Available. You have access to the data collection.
- Pending Withdraw. A request is submitted to withdraw your access to the data collection.
- Withdrawn. Your access to the data collection is withdrawn.
Fulfilled
Date on which you received access to the data collection.
To view the details of a consumer access, click the access ID in the Access column. For more information about consumer accesses, see the Consumer accesses topic in the Working With Data Collections help.
Data Collection View
Prerequisites
To view the data collections on this tab, verify one of the following prerequisites:
- You are granted access to a data collection and your user profile is assigned at least one of the predefined roles for Data Marketplace. For more information about the predefined roles for Data Marketplace, see Predefined roles.
- You are granted access to a data collection and your user profile is assigned a role for which the following privileges and permissions are enabled:
▪ Access Data Marketplace privilege is enabled in Administrator.
▪ Read permission is enabled in Metadata Command Center for categories and data collections.
On the Data Collection View tab, you can view the data collections to which you have received access.
The following table describes the fields that you can view in the Data Collections grid:

Name
Name of the data collection.

Purpose of the data collection as defined by a stakeholder of the data collection.

Name of the category that contains the data collection.

You can view the following metrics on the My Data page:
What am I using data for?
The What am I using data for? chart summarizes how you are using data. This chart uses the usage context that you specify when you order the data. In the What am I using data for? chart, you can view the count of your active consumer accesses and your top three usages. You can also hover over the chart to reveal a tooltip that contains more details.
Where am I using data?
The Where am I using data? chart summarizes all of the locations where the data that you ordered was delivered for use. In this chart, you can view the count of your active consumer accesses and the top delivery templates that were used to deliver the data to you. You can also hover over the chart to reveal a tooltip that contains more details.
Data I Own tab
On your My Data page, you can view the data collections for which you or your group is assigned as a stakeholder.

Access View
Prerequisites
To view the consumer accesses on this tab, verify one of the following prerequisites:
- You are assigned as a stakeholder with one of the following stakeholder roles on a data collection that is associated with the consumer access:
▪ Data Owner
▪ Technical Owner
- You are assigned as a stakeholder on a data collection that is associated with the consumer access and your user profile is assigned a role for which the following privileges and permissions are enabled:
▪ Access Data Marketplace privilege is enabled in Administrator.
▪ Approve or Reject Orders or Fulfill Or Reject Orders privilege is enabled in Administrator.
▪ Read permission is enabled in Metadata Command Center for categories, data collections, delivery targets and usage contexts.
On the Access View tab, you can view the details of the consumer accesses for your data collections.
The following table describes the fields that you can view in the Access Details grid:

To filter the consumer accesses that are displayed in the Access Details grid, click Filter and select the filter that you want to use. After you configure the filter, click Filter again to curate the grid based on how you configured the filter. For example, if you want to view only the consumer accesses that were fulfilled by you, click Filter and select the Assigned to filter. In the Assigned to filter, select the Me assignee and click Filter again to apply it. After you apply the filter, the Access Details grid displays only the consumer accesses that were fulfilled by you.
Data Collection View
Prerequisites
To view the data collections on this tab, verify one of the following prerequisites:
- You are assigned as a stakeholder with one of the following stakeholder roles on a data collection:
▪ Data Owner
▪ Technical Owner
- You are assigned as a stakeholder on a data collection and your user profile is assigned a role for which the following privileges and permissions are enabled:
▪ Access Data Marketplace privilege is enabled in Administrator.
▪ Approve or Reject Orders or Fulfill Or Reject Orders privilege is enabled in Administrator.
▪ Read permission is enabled in Metadata Command Center for categories and data collections.
On the Data Collection View tab, you can view the details of the data collections for which you or your group is responsible.
The following table describes the fields that you can view in the Data Collections grid:

Reference identifier of the data collection.
Name
Name of the data collection.
Purpose
Purpose of the data collection.
Category
Name of the category that contains the data collection.
To filter the data collections that are displayed in the Data Collections grid, click Filter and select the filter that you want to use. After you configure the filter, click Filter again to curate the grid based on how you configured the filter. For example, if you want to view only the data collections that are assigned to you, click Filter and select the Assigned to filter. In the Assigned to filter, select the Me assignee and click Filter again to apply it. After you apply the filter, the Data Collections grid displays only the data collections that are assigned to you.
Metrics
You can view the following metrics on the My Data page:
What is my data used for?
The What is my data used for? chart summarizes how the Data Users that received access to the data are using it. This chart uses the usage context that the Data Users specify when they order the data. You can also hover over the chart to reveal a tooltip that contains more details. You can view this information if you are assigned as a stakeholder of a data collection.
Where is my data used?
The Where is my data used? chart summarizes all of the locations where the data that you own was delivered for use. In this chart, you can view the count of the active consumer accesses and the top delivery templates that were used to deliver the data to the Data Users that ordered the data collections that you manage. You can also hover over the chart to reveal a tooltip that contains more details. You can view this information if you are assigned as a stakeholder of a data collection.
Your approval stats
You can use the Your Approval Stats metric to view the average of the number of days taken by you to approve orders.
Your fulfillment stats
You can use the Your Fulfillment Stats metric to view the average of the number of days taken by you to fulfill orders.
Switch between page layouts
Your administrator may customize the My Data page by creating a different layout for the page.
If you have multiple page layout options available to you, you can use the Switch Layout icon to switch between the layouts to view a different presentation of information on each layout. You can click the Set As Default icon next to a particular layout to set it as your personal default.
